Moscatelli, Maria – in Swampscott, formerly of Revere, North End and Winthrop, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5th.
Dear sister of the late Severino, Mike, Felix, and Dante Moscatelli, and the late Lola M. Provost.
Maria is survived by her loving care-giver and niece Patty Moscatelli of Swampscott, as well as by her many other loving niece and nephews, and the late Cathy Moscatelli-Pinney.
Family and friends will honor Maria’s life by gathering in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Saturday June 10th from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon before leaving in procession to Woodlawn Mausoleum in Everett, where Maria will be laid to rest with her family. May they rest in peace.
Maria was born in Boston on October 17, 1929 to the late Salvatore and Lucia (Falcone) Moscatelli. She worked for many years as a legal secretary for the law firm of Goodwin, Proctor and Hoar of Boston. After retiring, Maria settled in Swampscott. She passed away peacefully at the Salem Hospital, after a brief illness on Monday morning. Maria was eighty-seven years of age.
In honoring Maria, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wrentham Development Center, P.O. Box 144, Wrentham, MA 02093 or to a charity of your choice.
The funeral home is handicapped accessible. A children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking is available at the front entrance. Ample off street parking with attendants is also available in our parking lots.
Services will conclude with Maria being laid to rest in Woodlawn Mausoleum, 302 Elm Street in Everett.
